Sony PS4 Release Date

The Sony Playstation 4 is confirmed, and now all there is to do is wait. Right now the Release date is going to be the same as the XBox 720 (which is around Christmas time of 2013) This means we have a year and change until it comes out, but many say it may be half of the wait.


What many people do not understand about Microsoft and Sony is that they BOTH will be releasing their new products at almost the same exact time and here is why...


Lets say you and your friend both created a really awesome car. Yours and your friends are both a sports car, but totally different in style. Would you want to release yours 6 months after your friend releases his car? ...


NO!!!! ..... You would not sell because he would catch all of those who are in need of a SPORTS car at that time. Once you come out with your sports car people will already have purchased one from your friend.


Well Sony and Microsoft products work the same way except lets just say Sony and Microsoft would not really be considered friends.

If one of the companies crack and end up releasing the product early, you better believe the other will as well. This is almost like the Cold War. We waited a while and threatened each other, but you know that if Russia tried anything the U.S would have right after.


Think about this and realize that either way we either have up to a year or as short as months, its all on how smoothly the wait goes for these companies at the corporate level.

Xbox 720 Release Date

It is official. Microsoft announced the Xbox 720 will be the name of the upcoming continuation of the 360. The Xbox 720 is said to be released Christmas of 2013. Many are against it because now for all games in order to play online you must type in a code to verify your game to Xbox Live. This means only in new games for the Xbox will you be able to play online, Unless your willing to pay 800 Microsoft points for the online pass.

Nintendo Wii U (Wii 2)

Nintendo says the Wii U is to be out sometime in 2012 (this year) the year is closing in now and many say July is the month to be ready. The Wii U is supposed to be the killer of all game systems, but of course they said that about the palm pixi cell phone when i came out and thats old news, as well as other video games and systems. The Wii U will have a controller with a screen with touch capability. Honestly after Nintendos Wii, i think they already ruined their name. Don't get me wrong the Wii is great and was cool at first by introducing the motion detection, but It is all too much. Video games are meant to be played on a controller. That touch and motion crap is for kids. Not adult or teen gamers. Of course this is my opinion but honestly who would buy the new Wii U after the impression the original Wii left on many? It is too kiddy, and makes fun games like Call of Duty on the Xbox, much more complicated to play, which is NOT fun. 

                                                                                                                                                                                   

Overall i would say if your a fan of that kind of gameplay then do experiment with this new gaming system by Nintendo, but if you owned or played the original Wii, and thought it is too kiddy or annoying to use and setup, then wait for the new Xbox 720 and PS4 to come out because they are approaching pretty soon as well.

    

Xbox 360 Slim 250 GB

Okay people, so as a HUGE Microsoft fan ( trust me i loved the ps2 as well, and sort of like Macintosh computers better than the Microsoft PC's) I owned many different xbox's. Of course we all have dealt with the Red Rings of Death on the 360, and many of us tried repairing it ourselves. One day i sold my xbox and never looked back as i grew out of hardcore video game playing. That is until i went to college and realized life sucks without an xbox 360, so why not buy the xbox 260 slim? it has  so much memory and i only got it for 280 since my friend works at Kmart. This came with everything including 3 months of live the 250 GB drive, Halo Reach and Fable III.

I LOVE this xbox, its fast, hardly makes any noise ( those who owned the original know why i mention this) and is less likely of breaking down than the older models. As well as everything is touch activated, much like all of the latest televisions. I have owned every style of the xbox 360 that there ever was and i would have to say this is my most favorite one yet. I also did not know that it comes not only in black but the rare white. Overall This is one of the best deals you can get for a game system right now and as a fan of Xbox i would have to recommend it to anyone who is looking to upgrade to ensure they do not get Red rings of death, or overheat it. The Xbox 360 Slim is a kick ass gaming experience.
